Is therapy only for people with serious mental health issues?
Not at all. Therapy is for anyone who wants to grow, heal, or better understand themselves. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit - many people attend therapy for self-development or emotional clarity.

Can therapy help if I’m not sure I want kids?

How soon after giving birth can I start therapy?
You can start therapy anytime postpartum, even immediately after birth if you’re emotionally ready. Early support can help prevent or manage postpartum anxiety or depression.

Do you offer virtual therapy sessions?
Yes, we provide online therapy sessions designed to mirror the grounding feel of in-person work, so our clients feel supported and at ease wherever they are.

What can I expect during an in-person therapy session?
In-person sessions are held in a calming environment with a cozy couch, gentle soundscapes, and a sense of safety to help clients feel comfortable and open during therapy.

What is the duration of a typical counseling session?
Standard individual counseling sessions last 50 minutes and are typically scheduled weekly or bi-weekly.

Do you offer group therapy sessions?
Yes, currently we offer 8-week group therapy sessions for pregnant women focusing on planning for postpartum.

How do I schedule a consultation?

How often will we meet?
We will meet once a week for 50 minutes at a time. In some cases I will meet with clients bi-weekly.

Who do you work with?
I work with individuals in the state of Florida, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Individuals who are going through life transitions including, but not limited to: relationship struggles, family issues, trauma, and major life transitions.

Where will we meet?
I see clients both in-person in St. Petersburg, FL, and virtually via a HIPAA compliant Telehealth platform. I am currently licensed as Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, Tennessee, West Virginia & Pennsylvania.
Fees, Insurance & Supervision

What is your session fee?
My private pay/ out of pocket fee is $175 per 50 min. Individual Session

Do you take insurance?
I work with Alma to be able to accept Cigna and Optum (United) Insurance. Please let me know if you'd like to use your insurance and I will sned you an invite from Alma to fill out your insurance information. Alma checks your billing responsibility with your insurance and does the billing for my practice as a third party.

What type of payment do you accept?
I accept all major credit cards and HSA cards. Payment will be completed after each session. During the intake process you will complete a credit card authorization form and card information will be kept on file.

What is your cancellation policy?
I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule please let me know via text or email prior to 24 hrs before your appointment. If your appointment is cancelled within the 24hr time frame or you are a no-show, your card will be charged the full fee ($1) for your session.

Do you work directly with insurance or offer superbills?
I offer superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. You are welcome to send those to your insurance provider and you may be able to receive reimbursement depending on your insurance benefits. Please reach out to your insurance and ask about behavioral health out of network benefits if you have any questions.
I also work with two Employee Assistance Programs, Modern Health, and Lyra. If your employer offers a mental health EAP you may be able to receive therapy sessions paid for by your employer. Please reach out to your employer HR if you have questions about your EAP.
