In-Person & Virtual Support
Maybe you've gone back over all of it more times than you can count. Wondering if you could have done something differently. Frustration around your own body and wishing you had more control.
Maybe your body is still recovering physically and emotionally, and it feels like the people around you have already moved on. You might be functioning fine for a week and then coming apart in a grocery store aisle.
I work with women grieving a pregnancy loss, anxiety about what the future will bring, navigating the dynamics in relationships, and we move at whatever pace you need.
You might be here because…
You had a miscarriage that others brushed past because it happened "early"
You found out at an appointment where nothing was supposed to be wrong
You had an ectopic pregnancy, and a medical emergency along with it
You've lost more than one, and you're starting to have anxiety around your future
You ended a pregnancy for medical reasons — a decision you made out of love and now carry mostly alone
Continued IVF cycles and transfers not working after months of hopefulness and planning
You're pregnant again, and this pregnancy feels nothing like the first one
You lost a pregnancy years ago and never really got to grieve it

There's no window you have to wait for and none you can miss. Some women come in the week after; some come a year later, when everyone else has stopped asking.
-
Those feelings are part of grief too. Numbness is often the nervous system doing exactly what it's supposed to do, trying to protect you. You don't have to feel a certain way to start processing those feelings.

Yes. Pregnancy after loss is its own experience, you’re constantly symptom-checking, feeling anxiety and dread before every scan, refusing to let yourself picture a baby. That isn't ordinary pregnancy worry and it isn't something you can be talked out of, but we can work on that together.

Totally understandable to wonder about this. Even when we don’t realize it, we are constantly working against the grief and trying to avoid the difficult and uncomfortable feelings we don’t want to deal with or don’t have time for. Having one hour where you give yourself permission, actually takes the pressure off of the rest of your week.

I see clients in-person in Largo, FL and see clients virtually throughout Florida, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and West Virginia.
